LUSH granny takes a dip bath bomb- my experience

I recently I used the granny takes a dip lush bath bomb and I wanted to share with you my thoughts on it.

These are pictures of the bath bomb before use. As you can see its a nice large bath bomb swirling in lots of different colours. This is available at most lush stores and his was £3.95.

This is the bath bomb just as I put it in the bath, the immediate colour was a light pink and it smelt quite fruity.

Further on in the melting process there were so many beautiful colours and my bath began to turn pink. The actual bath bomb felt quite creamy.

The bath bomb took a nice long time to dissapere which was nice because you got to enjoy it properly.

I hope you liked this post please comment down below your favourite lush product!

Alice holt gruffalo trail

This post is about the gruffalo trail which is a walk round suitable for children and also dog walks that has a Go ape and is a trail about the story book the gruffalo.

The place is lovely for dog walking because it's nice and big, plus there isn't anywhere unsafe they can get if you want to let them off of the lead.

As you can see in the two pictures about there is a big wooden sculpture of an owl, in the gruffalo book the mouse meets the owl so I thought that this was part of the gruffalo trail and you were going to see each character the mouse meets in a big sculpture form for the children to see, however this was not the case, but it still was a good trail!

At the end of the trail there is a short path which then contains what looks like wooden cut outs of each of the characters that you have to spot in the woods.

If you want to find the gruffalo you have to go to a separate part of the trail which is a bit of a down side as you would want them to be all together.

There is a lovely cafe which serve a massive variety of foods from waffles and ice cream, to soup and sandwiches.

Overall this was a good trail but could've been better

My trip to Stevenage

                                                   Sunday 14th September

On arrival

When we arrived we set out for a place to eat and ended up at a big shopping centre called 'The Galeria.' I highly recommend this shopping centre as it includes so many restaurants and shops, its a good size and also includes a cinema. Its a retail outlet so you can get things for a bit cheaper which is great.

Chiquitos

I had the Santa Fe wrap, and I have to say it wasn't what I expected but it was delicious!
On the menu it describes as chicken in a tomato sauce with rice and sour cream, and when
it came it was more of just chicken and rice in the wrap, which when I saw it I was dissapointed
but when I ate the wrap the rice had so much flavour and it was so good!
I do recommend this but have to say its not what it sounds like on the menu.

Unfortunately I was so hungry and forgot to take a photo but
this is one off of the internet that I found of the
Santa Fe wrap.

For desert I had the Churros with strawberry's and chocolate
source for dipping.
These were SO good! I highly recommend these
they were sprinkled with cinnamon which gave it great flavour.
The only tiny thing I have to say is the fact that the chocolate dipping source was a bit watery
I was expecting more of a thick source however it could've just been my serving. But other than that I loved this
desert and would order it again.

Overview

I did enjoy Chiquitos however this particular one wasn't great. I have been to one in Kent and enjoyed that more. Service was a bit slow but food was yummy and would still go back again! :)

Knebworth house

Knebworth house is home to some beautiful statues and amazing grounds.
There is so many acres of land fills with beautiful things.

This one of a girl reading is particularly my favourite.

We then went through an arch into a place
where they were growing lots of fruit, veg and plants.

I found this part so cute and it was really nice to see everything growing so well and fresh!

I know this photo may seem random but its in the same place I promise! ahaha
As I said I went with my family which includes my brother (shown in the
picture) but knebworth house includes something for
everyone! They have this trail called the dinosaur trail and
it was great for children! It includes facts
 about the dinosaurs and animal
 noises and sounds as well.

Photos of the beautiful grounds and knebworth house itself!
it was so breathtaking.

Beautiful tree carvings.

Products just not worth the hype

Below are some of the famous outbursts in the blogger world that I purchased and really didn’t think they were either, worth the money or, just didn’t work as well as I thought they would.

I must stress this is just my opinion but I thought I’d love to share this with you guys to see if any of you agree or can give me any tips for maybe what I’m doing wrong.  :)

Number two was my Benefit Dandelion blush. Again I had heard loads of people telling me to try this and saying how good it was and such a pe4rfect baby pink but however I don’t think it applied well at all. I would apply and apply and I found it just didn’t show up. I also think Benefit blushes are a bit overpriced so I was disappointed as I could’ve got a better one for the amount of money I paid.
Next was some Topshop nail varnish, I found some of the most beautiful colours which I couldn’t wait to try out and I was very disappointed to find out how watery they were. However many coats you would put on it just ended up looking cheap and tacky. I also found that after not long at all they then became gloopy and sticky which was not nice to apply. Something I don’t think I’ll be buying again.
Then we have the Chanel eyeshadow. As we all know Chanel is mega expensive and I have to say I was disappointed. I love love love the packaging of all Chanel products, I think they are very clean, sheik and glamorous, however, I found the palette very small and the amount of eye shadow they give you I don’t find enough for how much you have to pay. I also find myself having to apply a lot of the eye shadow which isn’t great when you don’t have much, because I find it very chalky, so to get a decent coverage I have to apply quite a bit. I was so disappointed as Chanel is one of my favourite brands.
Finally is the Elf contouring blush and bronzing powder, the original one. One of the main things I hated about this product was how both the bronzer and blush contained glitter in them. I hate glitter and I think it just makes it look cheap and tacky. I also found the bronzer super orange and I would not be able to apply this to my skin tone. I just didn’t find the quality of these that great. However if you like glittery face products then this may be the one for you!

Okay so thank you so much and I hope this helps, again I know this is only my opinion but personally I always love to watch youtube or read other blogs on things people just haven’t really got on with and didn’t think was worth the hype.
Please do say your experiences and share anything that you either agree or disagree with because I know most of these are quite controversial.
Kisses and hugs
